Ghanaian dancehall maestro, Livingstone Etse Satekla, better known as Stonebwoy, has clarified that he was misinterpreted on his earlier comments concerning the Ghana Nigeria brouhaha which was started by Shatta Wale.
Stonebwoy had earlier on stated that Ghanaians showed a lot of love and support to Nigerians but that was not reciprocated. This attracted backlash from the Nigerian populace, accusing the Ghanaian artist of being an ungrateful person. However, Stonebwoy later met with Nigerian stars, Davido and WizKid, in Ghana and apologized for his comments.
In a new tweet on the issue, the dancehall star claimed that he was greatly misinterpreted in his earlier comments. He stated that Nigerians did not owe any African country a favor.
He tweeted: “I have been greatly misinterpreted on the thoughts I shared and it’s sad. Nigeria DO NOT owe any African country No Obligation. I trust Ghana and Nigeria are the closest friends in Africa. Nothing can come between us. May our differences continue to bond us”
