Dancehall musician, Shatta Wale, lived up to his famous antics when he caused a scene at the police headquarters in Accra when he went there to meet the IGP along with other entertainment personalities on Wednesday morning.
The meeting with musicians and other entertainment personalities was called by the IGP, Dr. George Akuffo Dampare to hold a discussion on certain issues. The media houses were prevented from attending the meeting so that nothing said inside the meeting could be recorded. However, Shatta Wale is said to have disobeyed this rule after he started filming the events of the meeting.
A police officer then told him to stop, which caused the musician to get angry, talking on top of his voice in the presence of the IGP. An order was then given for him to be detained. However, he was forgiven, following pleas from those in attendance at the meeting.
Shatta Wale then exited the meeting while it was still in session in an angry mood with some police officers following him outside.
While outside, the singer could be heard explaining what happened “You called me to come here, I have come. I am sitting down, people are taking out their phones, me alone took out my phone, some policeman wanted to talk to me”
