Popular social commentator, A-Plus, has revealed that dancehall artist, Stonebwoy, is fighting a useless fight with his ‘Greedy Men’ song which is aimed at illegal mining in the country popularly known as Galamsay.
According to A-Plus, Stonebwoy should have channeled his efforts into recording love songs as that would have been beneficial in the end. He revealed that those involved in the galamsay activities were politicians and there was no way they were going to listen to the song by Stonebwoy and desist from their activities.
He stated on the United Showbiz that “Politicians are the ones embarking in galamsay and not the ordinary Ghanaians. But this galamsay song will not change anything. Citifm for instance spent about six months fighting this menace yet how did it end? The listeners are not the ones in charge of galamsay. They can’t do anything about it”
A-Plus also revealed that he had met the artist at Spintex earlier and if the musician had told him then that he was going to make a song on the galamsay menace, he would stop him and direct him to make a love song instead.
